Service Agreement Notifications (SAN)

This service allows a referring organisation to be notified of changes made by the Service Provider to Service Agreement so that they are able to keep their own systems up to date.  Service Manager and its associated systems will raise a notification each time a change takes place and this notification will contain a snapshot of the whole Service Agreement as resulting from that change.

The Service Agreement Notification will use the same framework as for Referrals and Acknowledgements – i.e. the notification will form one of the payloads in a Distribution Envelope.  The Service Provider expect that a BusinessAckv10 will be returned to them on successful receipt of a Service Agreement Notification.

As with other document types, a Distribution Envelope may contain one or more payloads.

On successful receipt of a Service Agreement Notification a BusinessAckv10 should be raised and returned to the Service Provider.  The PayloadId of the Service Agreement Notification is expected in the Acknowledgement.  This framework allows the Service Provider to detect and resend unprocessed notifications.
