Task types can be configured with in the system and can be linked to forms designed in the form design area. When a task is created the forms that are linked to the task are automatically created so that they are presented for completion when the task is completed.
Task types are administered from the administration home page, and like other administration areas, they can be searched, sorted, paged, archived, edited and created.
Existing tasks can be archived, selecting archive will mean that no new types of this task can be created, however existing created tasks or completed tasks can still be completed.
The following details can be edited on a task:
When adding a new task it can be optionally associated to a request, which will allow additional forms and SLAs to be added. Tasks not associated to a request could be internal meetings or training sessions.
Selecting 'Is Request Type', will allow for other field types to be added, If 'Is Default' is ticked, the task type will automatically be added when a new request is added to a Service Agreement only published forms can be associated to tasks.
