Android Installation

This guide has been produced to illustrate the Cognito SmartWorker (v1.0.0+) installation process for an Android device. Please note that a Samsung Galaxy S6 was used for illustration purposes and some screens may differ from those shown.

Pre-requisites

• Only Cognito can provide valid registration keys, do not re-use keys.
• The device must have a good active Internet connection.  If used on a corporate Wi-Fi, ensure proxies and firewalls are not blocking access.
• Ensure that Unknown sources, within the device Settings, has been enabled.  If this has not been enabled, you will be prompted to enable it when downloading SmartWorker.

Installation

To obtain the software on the device, access the SmartWorker download area using the link provided. http://download.fieldforceiq.com/

Select [Android], then [SmartWorker] to begin the download.  Once the download is complete, [Select] the completed download notification to begin the installation process.

Once installed the SmartWorker application will appear in the application list on the device.  Selecting [SmartWorker] will open the application and request the [Registration Key] which will be provided by Tunstall.  During this process SmartWorker will also be added to the home screen.

Use the on-screen keyboard, or copy and paste function of the device, to enter the [Registration Key] provided by Tunstall.  Selecting [Accept] will begin the authentication and profiling process.

Once the workflow and lookup lists have been downloaded and installed, the [Logon] screen will be displayed.  The application is now ready for use.
