Tasks can be scheduled to a resource from several places in the application. The scheduling home page will present two tiles, 'planner' which is a calendar view of the resources over time and date and 'tasks' which is a list of all the tasks at hand either scheduled or awaiting scheduling.
Selecting the Schedule icon from the task list will open up the planner with the task details open and the planner behind, the date, time, resource, appointment contact number, address and task notes can all be set. Selecting Cancel on the this page will allow you to view the availability of the resources. Selecting the task again from the task side bar will allow the details to be entered again, or the task can be dragged onto the planner for the selected resource.
Selecting the schedule button from the request details page will pull the tasks from the task area into the scheduling board and the task side bar as the schedulers 'working list'.
Tasks can again be dragged and dropped onto the planner or opened in edit mode and the details entered.
A third way of scheduling the tasks exist which includes selecting (Pinning) the tasks on the task list and selecting schedule.
When these 5 tasks are selected, just like the request page the details are pulled into the scheduling board as the 'working list' of tasks so that the tasks can be scheduled onto the board by dragging and dropping or by selecting the tasks and editing the details manually.
Another way of working and scheduling tasks is to select the planner directly from the home page. In this instance the 'working list' is all the scheduled and unscheduled tasks in the system at the time. Tasks that are scheduled already will have a darker target 'find' icon on the task in the side bar allowing users to select and find the task on the planner, selecting this will highlight the selected task in red. The spanner icon on the task will advise the application users whom the task is schedule to. A task that is not scheduled in this list will not be available for selection from the 'target'
