Scheduling and Tasks

Requests in the system can be configured to use tasks, which can be scheduled to staff to be completed. The system by default will have no tasks configured so that these can be designed to fit in with your business processes.  


If your operation completes separate Assessment and Installation visits then the system could be configured to have separate installation and assessment tasks on your installation requests each with a separate form, however if business combines the installation and assessment into a single visit then a combined task can be created with multiple forms attached.  Similarly change requests and decommission requests can be broken down further into Urgent Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Upgrade, Downgrade and equipment removal for example.


The business processes can still be processed without tasks configured, which is recommended for any sites upgrading from an earlier version so that the task introduction can be embedded gradually.
