The Application Filter will allow for the search grids to be filtered so that an application user operating at a system level can filter their search results and work based on what control centre of region that they are working within.  The application filter only applies activity to the Grid Controls.  The control allows you to apply a tick (check box) when you just want to see what data and uncheck when you want to see all data in the grid.

Drop down Lists and Scope

The Scope of data can be defined with the application.  The scope selector allows you to search data for selection
