Referrer Contact Method

Contact Method for the Referrer

The referrer must have a telephone number and can optionally have an email address.

Contact Method Address

The contact method address for a Referrer must be a valid UK phone number and optionally a valid email address.  

The tag in the XML is: <methodAddress>01234 234042</methodAddress>

Contact Method Characteristic

The contact method characteristics for a Referrer must have work set as the characteristic for both the email address and phone number.  

Phone number in the XML is: <methodCharacteristic>work</methodCharacteristic>

Each method characteristic should only be submitted once.

Contact Method Type

The contact method type for a Referrer can be either phone or email address.  

The tag within the XML should be: <methodType>phone</methodType> ; <methodType>email</methodType>
