Risks to be Managed by Telecare
The risks that are to be managed by Telecare provide the referring service to submit a list of risks that apply to the Service User. This risks can be mapped to Telecare solutions so that they can be mitigated.
These need to be defined in the configuration file before they are supplied within the assessment section of the Service Order, specifically in the Risks to Monitor section. <xs:element name="riskToMonitor" type="xs:string"
The default values for these fields without changes to the configuration will be:
- Getting up in the night?
- Falls in and around the home?
- Difficulty summoning help (for example communication or mobility problems)?
- Difficulty operating electrical / gas appliances?
- Difficulty managing heating?
- Leaves taps running or a history of floods?
- Difficulty managing medication?
- Short term memory problems?
- Does the service user wander or have potential to wander from their property?
- Carer support?
- Needs immediate reassurance around the home?
- Nocturnal seizures?
- Incontinence?
- Does the service user leave external doors open?
- Lives alone?
- Is the service user frail and vulnerable?
- Just Checking Assessment or Review Required
- Bariatrics
