Services
There could be multiple funders paying for different elements of the service. For example: one funder pays for installation, another for monitoring
Service Characteristics can be used to provide to capture amounts and frequency for example, and is reportable
Data is captured that will populate a data extract. Whilst invoices are not generated directly from Service Manager, it is intended that data extracts will be generated in a format which can be consumed by a financial system in order to:
- Maintain an Accounts Receivable Ledger
- Produce an Invoice
To Add a Service
- Search for the Service User: See Section: Search Service Agreement
- Select a service agreement to open the service agreement summary page
- Select the View icon on the Services section to view the Services
OR
- Select the Pencil icon to open the page in Edit mode
- Services can be flagged where VAT is applicable.
- Select the type of service from the drop down - to configure list of Services see Manage Services
- Select the Calendar icon to set a start date
- Optionally set an end date - if set must be after the start date
- Select an Account Holder
- Optionally add a Service Characteristic if applicable
- Add detail to the characteristic to add it
- Only characteristics with text will be shown against the service
- Select [Save] to create a new service
OR
- Select [Cancel] to cancel the creation of a new service
- Selecting the breadcrumb for the Service Agreement 'Service User Name' will return back to the Service Agreement Summary page
Note: All Service details, funder, start and end date and characteristics are reportable
To End a Service
- Select a current service from the services section
- Select [Edit]
- Enter an end date and select [Save] to end the service and return back to the service agreement details page where the end date will now be populated
OR
- Select [Cancel] to return back to the agreement details page
- Selecting the breadcrumb for the Service Agreement 'Service User Name' will return back to the Service Agreement Summary page
