Cancel a Change or Decommission Request

A request may be cancelled before a change request or decommission request is completed.

When cancelling a request the application user must enter a cancellation reason.  The cancellation reason are selected from a list of cancellation reasons that need to be defined for selection. Explicit management of this dynamic list will be controlled in a future release of Service Manager.  

Note: If a change or decommission request is cancelled, any changes made during the request will be reversed to the state before the request was created and edits made. 

• Search for the Service User: See Section: Search Service Agreement or Search Request
• Select a service agreement to open the service agreement summary page
• Selecting the Request tab and then select the request that is open
• Select [Edit] in the request details
• Select [Cancel Request] which will open the Cancel Request Reason window
• Select Cancellation Reason
• Select [Cancel Request]

OR

• Select [Cancel] to cancel the cancellation

Note: The reasons for selection can be assigned a scope.
