Configuring Primary Stock Item

When stock has been picked it can be set as the primary item of equipment to communicate with the PNC Control Centre.  Once it has been set as the primary item of equipment a PNC equipment ID must be generated.  This is the unique ID the unit will use when it communicates with PNC.  

The PNC Equipment ID will be set through one of these pathways:

• Selected from an Unused PNC Equipment ID List (Historically the unused ident report) starting from a lower value.
• Selected from a list of pre-programmed PNC Equipment IDs: See Pick Pre-configured Stock Items
• A scheme ID and Module ID that will be pre-set within the PNC Control Centre
• Re-use an ID where by you program a new stock item to the existing ID set

PNC Equipment IDs are unique within each control centre.
