Selecting Unused Id on an Installation Request
To configure stock you will have accessed a Service User Request from either of the Workspace Search or Service Agreement search and select an active Request.
- Select the [Edit] in the Request details, stock items that are configurable will have the configure button enabled for selection.
- Select the Configure Action button
- Enter the lower value for the PNC Equipment ID and the system will present the next 5 available Ids from that value.
- Select the PNC Equipment ID from the unused list to set the ID
- Optionally the PNC Equipment Telephone can be set prior to installation so that it is set for the Test call, start entering this number to reveal the Service Users home phone numbers for selection or enter a new number.
Note: Entering a new value will offer up some new Ids based on the new lower value, selecting the down arrow will represent the available Ids.
- Selecting [Set Primary] will save the changes and synchronise the PNC Equipment ID, Stock Model and Equipment Telephone number to PNC
Or
- Select [Save] which will save the PNC Equipment ID against the stock item but not trigger a synchronisation to PNC.
Or
- Select [Cancel] which will cancel the configuring of the equipment.
Note: When entering a lower PNC Equipment ID the system will find the next Unused ID from the lower limit entered and present this ID in the unused section for selection.
