Requests and Document Links
Documents can be linked to a request to allow for engineer paperwork or assessments relation a change request that has been completed. A link can either be a network path to a document where it has been saved or http file path.
Scanned documents can be attached and uploaded to a sharing area on a network path OR URL. These can then be associated with a Service Agreement in the form of a link. This facility is not include formal document management, i.e. version control.
Add document Link
- Search for the Service User: See Section: Search Service Agreement
- Select a service agreement to open the service agreement summary page
- Select the Requests tab
- Select [Edit] to enable edits to the request including Add Link
- Select [Add Link]
- Enter the URL or network path and the name of the document
- Select [Save]
or
- Select [Cancel] to discard the creation of the Link
Edit document Link
- Search for the Service User: See Section: Search Service Agreement
- Select a service agreement to open the service agreement summary page
- Select the Requests tab
- Select [Edit] to enable edits to the request including Edit Document Link
- Select the [Pencil] icon and update the details
- Select [Save]
or
- Select [Cancel] to discard the document link edit
Remove document Link
- Search for the Service User: See Section: Search Service Agreement
- Select a service agreement to open the service agreement summary page
- Select the Requests tab
- Select [Edit] to enable edits to the request including Remove Link
- Select the trash can icon to remove the link
